Professors Dominique Cadilhac, Natasha Lannin, Sandy Middleton and the entire AuSCR team are excited to announce that the registry recently had its 100,000th episode of care recorded.
The AuSCR has been documenting acute care provision for patients with stroke/TIA for over 10 years. This has been made possible by the hard work and dedication of all involved across Australia.
We look forward to continuing to work with participating hospitals and patients in 2020, and beyond, as part of a national collaborative effort to improve the care and outcomes for patients with stroke. Especially since, in the light of recent COVID-19 changes to hospital processes, it remains more important than ever to document the impacts to stroke care and patients.
The AuSCR’s 100,000th episode of care was recently announced in the Herald Sun Victorian newspaper on 17 July 2020 (see below).
