Development of a national advanced digital stroke registry
A team led by Prof Dominique Cadilhac, Australian Stroke Clinical Registry (AuSCR) Data Custodian, has received a $2.5 million grant from Australian Government’s Medical Research Future Fund to create Australia’s first advanced digital clinical quality registry platform.
This project will build off the work the AuSCR has undertaken for over a decade in improving best-practice care for people who experience stroke.
The project involves developing digital solutions for hospitals to automatically transfer data into the registry.

The project will bring together partners from Monash University, the Stroke Foundation, the Australian e-Health Research Centre (CSIRO), the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care, and various health departments.
