The 2022 National Stroke Quality Improvement Workshop was held in October, presented by Monash University, the Stroke Foundation, the Florey Institute of Neuroscience & Mental Health, and the Australian Stroke Clinical Registry (AuSCR). Over 50 people attended in person, and over 100 joined online. Sessions included:
- Progress on the national strategy for clinical quality registries, and a proposal for national infrastructure supporting integrated stroke data
- State-based quality improvement priorities and strategies
- Case studies of hospitals using their AuSCR data to drive improvements in their clinical processes of care for patients with stroke
- Recent initiatives in rehabilitation and post-hospital stroke care
- Data linkage projects
