Q: What is the AuSDaT, and how does it relate to the Australian Stroke Clinical Registry (AuSCR)?
A: The Australian Stroke Data Tool (AuSDaT) is a web-based application offering hospital clinicians in acute and rehabilitation settings a single data collection tool for the clinical monitoring of stroke care. It is used to collect data for the National Stroke Audit, the AuSCR, and other stroke programs such as the Safe Implementation of Treatments in Stroke (SITS) and International Stroke Perfusion Imaging Registry (INSPIRE).
Q: How do I login to the AuSDaT?
A: The AuSDaT login page is www.ausdat.org.au; the Registry Login button on the right of the screen will also take you there. Your hospital’s AuSCR Coordinator can set you up as a Data Collector using your email address as your username, or if you need a Hospital Coordinator account, please contact the AuSCR office.
Q: What if my activation link expires or doesn’t work?
A: Just go to the AuSDaT login page and click “Forgot your password?” Follow the prompts to set up a new password for yourself and login.
Q: What if I forget my username or password?
A: Your username is your registered email address; if this changes, please advise the AuSCR Office, or you will not be able to reset your password. To reset your password, go to the AuSDaT login page and click “Forgot your password?” Follow the prompts to set up a new password for yourself and login.
Q: Can I use the same login for AuSCR as for the Stroke Foundation Audit?
A: Yes, the AuSDaT is designed for this.
